Workshop Description:
Please join us for Day One of experimenting and creative play with monoprints! Learn the magic of creating beautiful one-of-a-kind, layered prints using inks, gelli plates, stencils, stamps, household items, and more. You might be surprised by some of the things we’ll use. And when you think all the fun is over, there's Day Two! This is where we’ll transform some of our monoprints into unique and beautiful books!

Jennifer Graves is a letterpress printer, book artist, and educator in Los Angeles, California. She teaches at Otis College of Art and Design and is the proprietress of SCRAPScollective.
Artist Statement: My inspiration often comes from the stories, the beauty, and the imperfections of vintage wood and metal type. Using them, layered with other art mediums, allows me to experiment, tell new stories, amplify voices, empower, inspire, connect community, and more. I create for the greater good.
